SARGAS KEY PERSONNEL:
Sargas has a team of people with extensive experience in the areas of technology development and commercialisation in the energy and chemical sectors, strategy development, finance and public-private project management. The team is expanding rapidly. The current key individuals are :
Henrik Fleischer, CEO: is a graduate of the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and Vienna University. He is a serial entrepreneur in the maritime sector with extensive experience in global business development.
Knut Børseth, Chief Innovation Officer: is the co-inventor of the Sargas technology solutions. Knut is a naval architect and holds a large number of patents in the fields of floating production vessels and oil field development. He was awarded a technical honorary degree from NTNF in 1989.
Dr. Tor Christensen, Chief Technology Officer: holds a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University. He is co-inventor of several Sargas patents along with Knut Børseth. Tor has formerly been head of R& D at Norsk Hydro Herøya and has extensive experience as a senior executive and process consultant in the field of design and simulations, process evaluation and optimization, all critical to the development of Sargas’ technical capabilities.
Ir. Dr. Herman De Meyer,Head of Process Engineering: holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Leuven and has more than 20 years of expertise in chemical plant engineering and mobilization. He has been responsible for cutting edge projects where tens of millions of dollars have been saved by advanced engineering approaches.
Leif Dons, Chief Operating Officer:
He is graduate engineer (M. Sc.) from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH), Faculty of General Science and Technical Physics, 1973. He has extensive top management and board experience from global oil and oil services companies.
Martin Rödén, Director of Business Development: holds a Master of Science (MSc.) 1985 specializing in Energy and International marketing from Chalmers Institute of Technology in Sweden. He has an extensive international career with leading management positions in Sweden, France, Germany and China in different technologies such as software development, telecom systems, energy saving & control systems and electronics.
Claes Nygren, CEO holds a Master
of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He has an extensive international
career with leading management positions in Sweden, Finland, Brazil,
USA and Japan regarding nuclear, HVDC and PFBC technologies.
Roine Brännström, senior specialist
engineer, holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. He
has about 35 years experience from PFBC technology and holds 50
patents on PFBC–related inventions. He has had different management
positions.
Lars-Göran Johansson, engineer,
senior performance specialist with more than 30 years experience
from atmospheric and pressurized fluidized bed boilers and different
types of plants.
Leif Kemmer, senior specialist
engineer, holds a Master of Science in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
and Mathematical Statistic. He has more than 30 years experience
in Steam Turbine, PFBC and gas combined cycle plants design and
performance.
Sven-Olof Östman, senior specialist
engineer, holds a technical college graduate. He has about 25 years
of experience from PFBC boiler mechanical design.
Stellan Hamrin, senior specialist
engineer, holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He
has 14 years experience from PFBC technology and has been working
with fluid flow and dynamic structural analysis in Gas Turbine and
nuclear power applications, apart from the PFBC-application. He
has also been working with other CO2-capture projects where he holds
several patents.
Kristian Sjöstedt, senior specialist
engineer, holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He
has more than 25 years of experience from PFBC technology. |
