Full scale Zero Emission Power from Coal – in Wyoming
The Powder River Basin (PRB) coal reserves in Wyoming, estimated at 1.18 trillion tons, approximately one quarter of the world’s coals, is a world class energy reserve. By combining Sargas clean coal technology, carbon dioxide (CO2) capture, enhanced oil recovery (EOR) with CO2 sequestration, this energy source will be re-valued as Green Energy. During recent years, successful EOR has increased oil production in Wyoming by 10-15 %. Potentially, 3 billon barrels of oil can be produced from the area.
Sargas has the necessary technology and knowledge to convert this fuel to Clean Energy, by orchestrating construction of power plants with CO2 capture, supplying electricity and pure CO2 to oil producers.
